Volunteering with the Banana Trust
Being a volunteer is a rewarding experience. You will enable deserving children to have respite care that they would not normally have access to. However looking after children with additional needs can be tiring, emotionally demanding and patience is required.
No prior training is needed – as we provide this before your first trip and there is lots of support available.
This is how are volunteering process works:
- Fill out the application form below
- We will contact your references
- We will send you a DBS application form and conduct an ID check
- Subject to the above all being ok, you will become an approved volunteer
- We will send you a list of the upcoming trips and you can choose which ones you are available to volunteer on.
